Aide/Union Day School at Talbert House
Job Description
Talbert House, a social service agency that provides mental health, substance abuse, community corrections, and welfare-to-work services throughout the Greater Cincinnati region, is seeking six Clinical Service Providers to work at its Union Day School. This alternative school program is for students who are experiencing serious emotional and behavioral challenges impacting academic success. The program is a partnership between Butler County Educational Service Center and Talbert House and is located in West Chester, Ohio. These positions are full-time on first shift; work days are Monday to Friday. The successful candidates will monitor students at Union Day School, engage students using the Collaborative Problem Solving Model, take clients to appointments, direct students while in the building, and perform various clerical duties and assist the clinical staff with tasks related to the treatment of the student.

These positions require a high school diploma/GED, valid driver’s license and current auto insurance, and a reliable vehicle to transport clients. The preferred candidate will have an Associate’s degree and/or some coursework in counseling or social work and at least one year working with children and families in an education or mental health setting.
