Job Description

Clinical Service Provider/Jail Intervention for Men: Talbert House, a social service agency that provides mental health, substance abuse, community corrections, and welfare-to-work services throughout the Greater Cincinnati region, is seeking a Clinical Service Provider (Therapist) to work at its Jail Intervention for Men program in Cincinnati, Ohio. This position is full-time on first shift; work days are Monday to Friday, one evening weekly and Saturday rotation schedule. This program provides batters intervention and interpersonal violence services for incarcerated males. Program utilizes a cognitive behavioral approach to addressing criminal thinking and behaviors. Position is responsible for providing clinical criminal justice services including: assessment, education groups, counseling, case management, coordinated community re-entry planning services. Person is responsible for meeting clinical documentation standards for accuracy and timeliness.
These positions require a Bachelor's degree with some experience in the field or at least internship experience, and LSW or LPC, or LCDC III. Preferred candidate will have two years or more experience working with men in a correctional setting. During the first 8 weeks of employment, new hire must complete training and pass competency test on electronic clinical documentation software (CATT).
